Hey everybody in Portland Computer Repair Land,

A quick note about Windows 7, the next operation system. We have been hearing a lot from you wondering what operating system to buy, XP or Vista (old or bad).  Microsoft has graciously made this choice a lot easier! If you buy Vista on any machine today (other than Home Basic) you will get a free Windows 7 upgrade when the next operating system is released in the winter.

And yes, it is better. Windows 7 is better than XP, and way, way better than Vista. As always, microsoft releases a good operating system every other outing (95 bad, 98 good, ME bad, XP, good, Vista bad, 7 good) and we are really looking forward to a more stable operating platform!

Hey Everybody in Portland Computer Repair Land,
We have a new shop! It took a few days to get moved in, and there are still bugs to be worked out, and things to clarify/clean up, but the majority of the work is done! Stop by, 2813 NE Martin Luther King and say hi!
This is our first retail operation, so we’re feeling our way as we go, but I know a few things.

1) This shop will help save you money, because we now have a place to do jobs that take less than one hour. Need a power supply replaced? About 30 minutes of work. Need a new laptop keyboard? No problem, two minutes!

2) This shop will also finally give us a place to do free diagnostic work. Want to know whats wrong? To test a laptop AC adapter? Just come on by!

The last note is we’re still working out the hours. We will always be available by appointment, but we as yet do not have specific “in shop” hours. Somebody is here often, most days, most times, but theres no firm promises that we will be here at any given moment. Please call ahead!

Hey Everybody,

Just wanted to let you all know that for the next 2 weeks or so the company will be moving from our old offices into our new ones. We will do our best to make this transition seamless, but it does me all work will be done pickup and delivery, or on site, until July 16th.  Also, we are doing our best to keep the phone system up and running, but we may have some hiccups,  if you don’t get through, please try again in an hour. If you get the machine, please leave a message and we will respond promptly.

Otherwise, we are doing everything we can to make this transition as smooth as possible, and when we are done we will have a huge new shop!
