We, Zac and Zia, recently moved to Portland from Boston, Massachusetts for the sheer love of it. Originally haling from western states (California and Arizona, respectively), we both went to Massachusetts for school and, after graduation, wanted to head back towards more familiar territory.
Zac started learning how to fix computers right around the time he started to break them, when he was 13 years old. Over the last 11 years he has slowly worked his way up the ranks of computer repair professionals. He started small, just doing the family machines, and has been steadily growing his business since then. Here in Portland, Zac has hired four technicians to work with him part-time repairing computers all over the city.
Zia, a graduate of Smith College, majored in Medieval Studies and minored in Economics. Her reasonable aptitude for numbers and love of details lends itself to keeping the company’s books, while her unnatural love of grammar makes her Editor in Chief of the various written documents we produce.
When we’re not doing computer repair we’re probably walking to the market to buy something for supper – cooking is a passion we share. Zac thinks cows are the greatest thing in the world (don’t tell the hamsters); Zia knits, bakes bread, and is plotting her first garden. (Zac has generously offered to taste-test everything.)
